Terms & Conditions
Welcome to French Schooling!
By enrolling in our courses, accessing our online platform, or making a payment for any of our educational programs, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your registration
1. Enrollment, Cohort Management & Batch Adjustments
Cohort-Based Learning: French Schooling operates on a structured, cohort-based live instructional model with limited batch capacity. Seat reservation is finalized upon payment processing.
Course Duration & Quality Assurance: French Schooling structures its programs around standard instructional hours designed to complete the curriculum effectively. To ensure optimal learning outcomes, our teaching pace is adaptive to the batch, accelerating for fast-paced students or accommodating those who require additional support. If deemed necessary by the institute, French Schooling may, at its sole discretion, offer extended course hours or supplementary sessions at no additional cost. However, such extensions are entirely voluntary on our part and do not constitute a mandatory or guaranteed component of the course duration.
Schedule Adjustments: To maintain the highest quality of instruction and administrative efficiency, French Schooling reserves the right to adjust class schedules, temporarily reassign instructors, or merge batches when operationally necessary. Any modifications will be communicated to students in advance to minimize disruption.
2. Fees, Payments & Refund Policy
Public Policy Agreement: Course fees, enrollment terms, and fee structures are published and accessible across our official platforms. Payment of course fees constitutes full acceptance of these terms.
Non-Refundable Policy: All course fees paid to French Schooling are non-refundable and non-transferable once seat allocation is finalized or once classes have commenced.
Official Refund Policy Page: For detailed terms, exceptions, and institutional guidelines regarding fee structures and cancellations, please refer directly to our official Refund Policy Page, which is incorporated into these Terms & Conditions by reference.
3. Live Attendance, Missed Sessions & Class Recordings
Live Session Participation: Active live attendance is essential for language acquisition and interactive fluency. Missed live sessions are non-refundable and non-compensatory.
On-Demand Class Recordings: To support learning continuity when life events interfere, students who are unable to attend a live class may request a recording.
Request Requirement: To ensure student privacy and data security, live sessions are not recorded continuously. Students must notify the instructor or administration prior to the start of the class so the recording mechanism can be enabled for that session.
Access Limitations: Granted recordings are for individual review only and remain accessible for a limited duration corresponding to the active batch.
4. Study Materials, Digital Assets & Pedagogical Model
View-Only Platform Access: All proprietary study materials, including presentation slides, exercise worksheets, digital notes, and video materials, are accessible online through our dedicated learning portal during the active course duration.
Pedagogical Design (Non-Downloadable Assets): Digital slides and presentation materials are intentionally maintained as view-only (non-downloadable). This established language-learning methodology encourages active handwriting, personalized note-taking, and active cognitive retention of French grammar and vocabulary, which downloading static files cannot replicate.
Confidentiality & Anti-Piracy: All digital and physical materials provided by French Schooling are the exclusive intellectual property of the institute. Unauthorized downloading, screen-recording, copying, sharing, or distribution of course assets to non-enrolled third parties is strictly prohibited and subject to immediate account termination and legal action under the Copyright Act, 1957.
5. Code of Conduct, Classroom Decorum & Anti-Harassment
Academic Integrity & Respect: French Schooling is committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and professional learning environment. Students are expected to interact respectfully with instructors, administrative staff, and fellow peers at all times.
Zero Tolerance for Misconduct: Bullying, verbal abuse, harassment, personal insults, xenophobic or discriminatory remarks, continuous class disruption, or unauthorized interference with instructor management will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Standard Academic Expectations: Instructors reserve the right to review assigned homework, correct student errors, and enforce academic accountability during live sessions. Constructive feedback and academic discipline are core components of language instruction and do not constitute mistreatment.
Disciplinary Discontinuation: French Schooling reserves the right to immediately suspend or permanently terminate the enrollment of any student who violates this Code of Conduct, without prior notice and without eligibility for a fee refund or compensation.
6. Parental / Guardian Responsibility for Minor Students
Guardian Enrollment: In cases where enrollment is completed by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of a minor student, the parent/guardian assumes full responsibility for ensuring the student adheres to our Code of Conduct, attendance requirements, and platform policies.
Communication Channels: Official administrative and financial communications regarding minor students will be conducted directly through the registered contact details provided by the parent or guardian.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
All course curricula, brand names, logos, original teaching methodologies, software interfaces, media, and written text associated with French Schooling are protected under applicable Intellectual Property Laws in India.
Enrolled students are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view course content solely for their personal educational development.
8. Limitation of Liability & Technical Requirements
Technical Readiness: Students are responsible for maintaining suitable high-speed internet connections, compatible devices, and functional hardware (microphones/webcams) necessary to participate in live online sessions.
Service Continuity: French Schooling is not liable for disruptions, delays, or technical failures caused by local power outages, individual internet service provider (ISP) failures, or third-party platform glitches beyond our reasonable control.
9. Governing Law & Exclusive Jurisdiction
Governing Law: These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Exclusive Jurisdiction: Any disputes, claims, or legal proceedings arising out of or in connection with French Schooling’s services, enrollment agreements, or platform usage shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.
